About Alexandra
My methods are inspired by the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Tara Brach, Brian Weiss, self-hypnosis, and neurolinguistic programming.
I had a series of experiences that resulted in the return of traumatic memories of sexual abuse by an immediate family member in my earliest years. These were memories I had no access to for thirty years. Since the return of those memories I have undergone a true spiritual awakening.
I spent years grappling with the new information, integrating it into my consciousness, and reframing my entire existence as I'd known it into something fresh and empowered.
I share this with you because I believe that the context of my journey can be useful as you consider working with me.
I am able to offer myself to you in this way because I have made it out the other end. I have survived. And now I thrive.
And I want the same for you.
I work with survivors of childhood sexual trauma and incest by supporting them in owning their experience and by empowering them to honor it -- creating room for new experiences.
Our work together is grounded in providing space for you to experience, process, and share the busy mind activity around the traumas you carry with you.
Having my own personal experience to draw from means I understand the time it takes to heal and the many waves of emotion that can overwhelm our ability to get enough distance from them to see the bigger picture.
We will explore your inner workings in a natural way and see what other possibilities exist.
The mind is everything;
what you think, you become.
